In the Hospitality industry (whether that be timeshare management operations or conventional hotel), there is always a focus on solid financial results and customer service. At Shell Vacations Hospitality ("SVH"), we certainly have that focus as well, but strive to ensure that those areas of importance are truly a reality and not just discussion points. We further believe that the key to success is employee training. Employee training is often "all the buzz" without a great deal of substance. Shell Vacations Hospitality University ("SVHU") has made it a reality!

How is SVHU structured?

SVHU consists of building block training modules categorized by five employment types and a variety of certification programs customized to fit the needs of our employees and their respective locations. The University program ranges from Senior Management to line staff and is structured to offer line staff the opportunity to learn and grow through all five University levels.

How can the SVHU program support your training needs?

• A Professional Training Needs Consultation will be held with your team and to determine the type of training that would present the greatest benefit and impact.
• A customized University structure and comprehensive implementation program will be completed after a detailed review, guidance and recommendations.
• 12 core training modules to jump-start your program: With your team, initial training modules will be ascertained to effectively kick off your program. Training modules available are budgeting, marketing plans, employee supervisory skills, employee motivation and recognition, leadership, communication, etc.
• Develop a customized Certification Program whereby employees successfully completing the program (including applicable testing) receive written certification in a particular area of hospitality operations.
• Train program administrators and provides ongoing support to ensure success.
• Standard program templates and administrative forms are provided.
